PNCDI IV (UEFISCDI)

The National Research, Development and Innovation Plan (PNCDI IV) is Romania’s main national instrument for funding research. Many of its competitions are run by UEFISCDI.

Example instruments

• Experimental-demonstrative projects (PED): validating a technology at lab or demonstration scale
• Transfer to economic operator projects (PTE): transferring research results to a company
